Student Entrepreneurs Summer Kickoff Event

Special Programming for Student Entrepreneurs this Summer
From the fundamentals of starting a business, customer and business model validation, legal considerations, brand development, IP (Intellectual Property), crowdfunding, working with investors, to writing proposals, sales skills and information on sound financial accounting, students will be exposed to a variety of topics. Students will also have the opportunity to meet with mentors for personal coaching on their ventures.
In July, students will have the opportunity to participate in a Talent Fair matching talented students with opportunities suited to their new ventures/contractable skill sets.
The dynamics in play for business are undergoing constant change and at Station 2 Innovation this summer, we are excited to be a part of arming our students with additional skills to face these challenges and with the know-how to adapt in this new reality.
Summer programming is conducted each Tuesday and Thursday from 1-4pm starting Tuesday, June 7th through Thursday, August 4th. This encompasses a total of 17 fun and informative sessions with a graduation on Friday, August 5th. A certificate of completion will give students the cachet and confidence needed to become a successful business owner, entrepreneur, or intrapreneur.
Summer membership rates for 2 months are: High School Students – $25 per month and College/University/Technical – $50 per month. Student coworking memberships also include shared work space M-F during standard office hours 9am-5pm, Wi-Fi, print and office center, access to meeting space, like-minded people and free coffee. Plus, evening community events are offered at no extra charge.
