Taming the Leadership Elephant: The Simple Key to Becoming Calm, Focused & Profitable
Are elephants eating your business alive? You know . . . those frustrating “elephants in the room” that you try to ignore but that are blocking your path to success. There are all kinds of elephants: Overwhelm, Distraction, Anxiety, Feeling Stuck, Feeling Invisible – any one of them can derail even the most seasoned leader. Jackie Simmons has 30+ years of business consulting working with organizations as large as John’s Hopkins Applied Physics Lab and as diverse as solo-preneurs. Jackie says, “There’s nothing like being an entrepreneur/business owner to stir up an emotional mess. Being a single parent at the same time was like wrestling with an elephant.” The funny thing about this kind of (inner) elephant is that it was hard for her to see, but it’s impact was huge. Even though Jackie knew her stuff, the “elephant” would sit on her phone so she couldn’t make phone calls and it would distract her so she couldn’t focus & finish projects. It was through taming her own inner elephant that Jackie discovered the Inner Elephant Training System. A fast path out of overwhelm and self-sabotage to being calm, focused & profitable.
