Network & Learn – How to Build an Online Reputation with Social Media

November 8, 2016 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

How to Build an Online Reputation with Social Media

What could be more important than your reputation? As if to underscore how important this subject can be on election day 2016, our speaker Tracy Ingram comes to Station 2 Innovation to discuss “How to Build an Online Reputation with Social Media” on Tuesday, November 8th, 2016. The internet has given us access to a lot of good things and opened up a number of liabilities. Some of these things include the susceptibility that your good name can be besmirched by people you can’t identify (Is that really my customer? Do they have me confused with someone else?) and from places across the country, or even the world since the web itself is not geo-specific.

Fortunately, you can get out ahead of the public at large and create your own narrative. Tracy will reveal social media tools and techniques that will allow you to establish your expertise in the areas you choose. Your digital reputation creates significant opportunities in the business arena. This online reputation reflects the persona you want to put forward , be public facing, and be recognized for. This can lead to greater trust and less hesitancy when conducting business and open up new markets and customers based upon your well-crafted story.
